1. Mrs Holt

Mrs. Holt required a tanking and damp proofing contractor. She was about to have a new kitchen fitted and when the old one was taken her fitter advised her that she had a damp problem. Mrs. Holt's fitter got her several estimates and recommend the Flame Manor Developments quote as the best and most competitive

"Everything was done on time and to a very high standard and we didn't encounter any problems. The work took about five days altogether and the service was excellent! From coming in and doing the work, right through to completion of the work, everything was left as clean and tidy as it possibly could have been. 2. Mr Wallace

Mr Wallace's living room ceiling had fallen down due to a leak from the shower on the floor above. He found Flame Manor Developments on Yell.com. After meeting Flame Manner Developments, Mr. Wallace didn't call any other contractors.

"They were efficient on the phone and came out to see us the next day. We were given an assessment of what the job was going to entail and then they sent us a detailed estimate with a break down of what was going to happen. They turned up when they said they would and they did exactly what they had outlined. They were neat and tidy - they actually cordoned off the room by putting a frame up and sheets of plastic, so dust and mess were minimised. They were really pleasant, friendly and professional. 3. Mrs Tonge

In January during a period of terribly cold weather Mrs Tongue had no heating. Flame Manor Developments found the boiler in bits because an earlier contractor hadn't been able to find the fault! It turned out that the system was wired wrongly, both upstairs in the airing cupboard and in the utility room behind the boiler. This had stopped the boiler from working properly causing it to over heat and shut down.

"Their engineer didn't stop, he just kept plugging away at it, even working late, just to get us warm again! The job took a little longer than expected - which wasn't down to Flame Manor Developments but because it had been fitted badly in the first place. They sorted everything out and it's now working better than it was before. They were great, we had no problems. We're absolutely satisfied and everything's now working fine and it was a fair price."

4. Mr Webber

Initially, Mr. Webber wanted a dormer conversion to accommodate an en suite bathroom. He also needed a contractor to fit and tile the en suite, then he decided that he would have the main bathroom renovated too. Flame Manor Developments had worked for him eight or nine years previously and as he'd been very satisfied with them he came back.

"There was an issue when they opened the roof as it was different to the drawing, the council surveyor wanted extra columns to be built up stairs and down, along with more steel beams. But Flame Manor Developments came up with a plan that satisfied him, and didn't cost us a penny more! The manner in which they did the job was perfect - the guys they had working on the job - joiners, electricians etc. - were perfectly clean, they swept and tidied each night before they finished. Minimal mess - and the job's just excellent. The idea to do this came from my wife and it's exactly what she envisaged. The job is absolutely A1!"
